And as usual they're all being bitchy and targeting each other. On the latest ep I heard Maddy say how "great she feels" about making the "biggest move of the game" so far. Oh yes, what an incredible move that was to backdoor such a "power player" like Levita!! ..and your own alliance member into the bargain!!! I hope it's Levita who re-enters just to show Maddy that her "big move" meant jack shit.

Apart from the legendary Tim, Dallas is about the only one I've enjoyed watching on the male side as he's played hard and has been bursting to make some moves and go about ejecting some actual threats from the house. Unfortunately he's been held back by a bunch of moronic players - all hiding behind idiotic, weak, cowardly actions. But unless he wins the POV, it looks like the house of cowards will be kicking him out next...

Are you getting mixed up with US? You must be, otherwise you wouldn't use the word 'more' in the title. US cast is terrible with its females, but CA? It's known for its strong female cast.

S1 had Jillian comp beast and Emmett as a shield. Liza who was about the only one to realise what a threat Emmett was. Suzette the only one gunning for the big guys. Kat pushing for an all girls alliance.
S2 had Sabrina who completely dominated the first half until the Canada's HoH twist. Neda who completely dominated the second half.
S3 had Naeha, Sarah, Britt Fembots alliance with Sindy on the sidelines, all four gunned after Greig/Godfrey/Bruno/Bobby - all males. Got screwed by a stupid twist early on and had to play defensively from that point on. Ashleigh who started pulling out the comp wins when it mattered.

The males in comparison to the females in BBCAN have been pretty pathetic thus far. Even in this series with the females falling apart, the males really aren't that much better.

Dallas decided not to use the veto the first time!! Not busting that much then
Dallas doesn't have the power to name the replacement nominee - only the power to Veto one of the nominees. Using the Veto without the permission of the HoH is suicide. The HoH holds all the power.

Had Dallas used the Veto, Loveita/Joel could easily have turned around and thrown Maddy on the block, and if she went home, Dallas would have lost his only ally. It made absolutely no sense to use it.

Ok, Reserved, you make enough solid points for me to admit I've perhaps unfairly judged the BBCan females overall. As you say, probably influenced by the overall standard of them in the US version...

But I stand by my belief that this current group of BBCan females are atrocious.

Oh, I'm absolutely standing by your side on that one!

I agree this season the standard for females are terrible, but if you were to do a top 10 list of all time greats it would be almost split imo.
Females I would have in the top 10:

Vanessa BB17 (Truly an outstanding game, controlled the season start to finish and my personal pick for greatest female player ever, she wins 7-2 by winning the final HOH and taking Liz)

Neda BBC 2 (Great game starting under the radars and dominating the last 2 thirds of the game, similar ending to Vanessa, going out in the F3 having being evicted by a game long ally)

Danielle BB3 (Literally controlled the whole game with fantastic manipulation and one true ride or die alliance. Wins the game 7-0 if there was a jury)

Maggie BB6 (Underrated due to how much her alliance was hated by the public. But she was the leader of that alliance while somehow never being seen as the biggest target from the other side. Unbelievable move to get Howie to put up his own alliance member in James which basically won her the game )

joshrulez2, 1st 2 wad. Have to take your word for the latter 2, as that was well before my time of watching it...

Cassandra: I may just be the biggest shark in this house. 90% of the females may be utterly useless in BB..but they never disappoint in bringing some comedy to proceedings

Also hilarious watching Nick telling Kelsey straight to her face how useless she is and how much of a non threat everyone in the house considers her. The silly girl remarkably got offended by it

I was thinking about coming on to this thread and asking if it is the case that the women are the weaker players or is it the case that the women are being judged differently. This post confirmed the need for me to do so.

Both Cassandra and Kelsey and for that matter Maddy and also Loveita before them, have all had influence on the game - moreso than Joel or the brothers and in equal amounts to Ramsey, Raul and Dallas. Even Nikki has influence - some of the men go to her for advice and opinion.

It is not that there are too many weak females but from the start the females just targeted each other giving the men a free ride. The women have had a a lot of influence like Kelsey has on Jared, Cass has on everyone, Nikki playing a good social game and not getting nominated.

it is always the case in BB, it seems in any country, that the females are their own worst enemy always picking each other off far more then the males do !

I'm still catching up but it really annoys me the HMs were allowed to vote on who came back in, that's so weak. Lavita was definitely a more interesting gameplayer than Kelsey.

The usual cliches are back again this season, loud mouthed twit in the DR and outside (Dallas), the 'mastermind' strategist who tells us how great he is (Mitch) and the showmance that won't die (Kelsey and that boring guy).

Why would the females be judged differently? We've already seen females compete and prove they can hold their own against the males. It's just a shame they don't select enough of them. Mediocre ones are sadly brushed aside even by the weakest of males.

Even Nikki has influence - some of the men go to her for advice and opinion.

Come on man. Nikki?!? You're having a giant giraffe! Nikki is just there to bring some "humour" to the house. It would be crazy to target such a useless player. The ideal scenario for any of the HMs would be to be left with her in a final 2.
