Room Auditions

Good to have the small room back. I was so over of these arena audition.

Hopefully they don't do double auditions, For me that wasn't working.

It's better to hear them sing a cappella (sp?) that have a backing track to help them. And `I certainly prefer it without an audience either cheering or chanting.

I think last year some even had dancers and didn't one group have a video film behind them?

I think another boyband will arrive or be put together. Simon won't want another Over to win, he won't want a girl with Louisa to launch, the boys never seem to work out well and they don't need a girl group with Little Mix still riding high.

What ever happens, it's got to be better than last year

yeah said something similar in another thread , might get more focus on talent without all the gimmicks and the baying chavs in the audience influencing the judges

might be too much to hope for tho

Id be happy with:
- room auditions
- bootcamp in a different location
- judges houses abroad
- live shows (the first time an audience sees them perform)

Definitely no arena auditions. NO 6 CHAIR CHALLENGE! And certainly no live bootcamp stage where the acts are made to beg for their place. :O

I like the sound of this idea.

Although I would fix the Live Shows a little bit too by having less gimmicky stage productions (and this goes away from just the joke acts) and the for the judges to have more freedom in what comments they want to make other than "you made that your own" or "you're a ready made superstar."

I'd keep the six chair challenge. It must be horrific for the contestants but it did make good TV! It's also where recent series have picked up in the ratings and gained some momentum. I would make a few changes though, I'd go back to 8 contestants going through to judges houses (so it becomes the 8 chair challenge, which also takes the edge off) and for it to be done without an audience. Produced correctly, it could become more intense for the viewers but without the stress for those involved.

Last years bootcamp was probably the one thing they actually got right. Would love to see the country house format back.

Really looking forward to the room auditions also. Lets be honest, we all watch the auditions for the funny moments and there are always plenty of them in the room auditions. I can never really remember anything from the arena auditions, but moments from the room auditions always stick out. Even those things aside, I can still remember a lot more from 2013 and 2014 than I can of last year.

How about:

Room Auditions x6 episodes
Country House Bootcamp (2 stages) x4 episodes
Six Chair Challenge x4 episodes
Judges' Houses Around the World x2 episodes
Live Shows x10 weeks

I'm glad that the room auditions are back. The audience in the Arena auditions ruined them.
