Tonight's didn't bother me at all, it was just Robert being Robert. Blinded by his one track mind and being idiotically oblivious.

Also it's all just a big device to delay the reunion and like tink said - if they didn't fall out there'd be nothing to prompt this 'trying again' conversation next week. Eight days, I can't wait .

Yeah, Robert has always been rather oblivious. That's part of his character that I doubt will just go away. As far as the drink goes Aaron actually has to say the words its a date. I could see this happening a mile off. Aaron's been pushing Robert away, he was stung a bit on Friday's episode.

Ive kinda missed his oblivious side.

It would have been worse if Aaron was trying to talk about the trial and Robert blanked him changing the subject. I felt Robert was offloading more to his half empty pint glass than Aaron in general. He was just having one of his mopey rants As he did when venting about Donny

Just jumping ahead a bit- I'm not sure Rhona and Paddy will end up leaving, you know? I think Pierce will put a last minute spanner in the works; he does feature heavily in the spoilers that week. Also Paddy still comes up in interviews when Robron's future is mentioned so I think Paddy will still be around to issue the 'words of warning' to Aaron...

(Also there is a vague spoiler that week about Marlon being worried for his mate....Paddy?)

I'm just agreeing with all your posts tonight . If Aaron had been trying to talk to him about important things and Robert was blanking him then yes, I would have been really mad but since he wasnt I cant be upset.

It wasn't too bad but.. I still didn't like it can't blame Aaron or Robert at all though. Whether it was a date or who knew it was a date or whatever, wouldn't anyone be irritated if they'd gone on a night out and somebody kept saying the same things over and over and weren't listening? I do love oblivious Robert though! I can't see how this is enough for Aaron to tell Robert to stay away from court. Maybe he does find out about Lawrence.. Either that or Chas does her "we don't need you.. Stay away!" Thing again and Aaron feels the need to agree again.

Absolutely! And Aaron seemed to be in a slightly better place so while Robert was an insensitive prick, he wasn't the most insensitive prick he could be. If only he had a friend to vent to but he's billy no mates .

I agree with this too.

I do think that be it a date or not and even be it Robert or not- Aaron would have cancelled. He wouldn't put up with that BS. If it were Adam, he may have whacked him upside the head

Nice post

I wondering if there is more to the Monday spoiler of Aaron telling Rob to stay away. Or if its just him pushing Robert away again.

I feel differently after rewatching.. Robert's just Robert ain't he lol. The slagging of Chrandy is rather amusing.. I actually find it more funny that he believes Andy is just after her money & wouldn't be interested in Chrissie lol. But I'm glad that he's showing he frustrated rather than hiding it & only showing it once he's by himself.. its annoying that this is happening at a time like this but next week will definitely make up for it I'm becoming more positive on that.

At least we know that Aaron will want his support after initially rejecting it. Aaron can flare up & lash out, but he also calms down & regrets what he's said in the heat of the moment.

Just caught up.

I don't blame Aaron one bit for cancelling the night out......Robert deserved it.....he has got some serious grovelling to do to Aaron.....and that is something I look forward to seeing.....!!

Blimey, Lawrence thinks just throwing money at it will make it go away, good on Andy for not rolling over.......hate that Chrissie has jumped to the conclusion that it's Robert....although to be fair, I can't really blame her for that wrong conclusion, his past actions have a lot to answer for!

Kerry made me chuckle tonight....everything she said to Zak was just so funny and making it a lot worse!

Gabby ought to be ashamed of herself for going along with freaky Lachlan, good on Jacob for setting the record straight!

Aaron is stubborn. I can very much see how he's continue to e annoyed and not want Robert around him at the court.

Regardless of tonight we all know that Robert would jump in front of a bus to protect Aaron if it came down to it. He was willing to go jail for Aaron. That has to be more important than this argument surely. Of course Aaron's going to want Robert there, how is getting through court otherwise.

I do hope its just Aaron being stubborn and something else doesnt happen. :

I agree Robert was offloading & oblivious Robert didn't suss that Chrandy really wouldn't be a subject Aaron really wanted to hear.

Its probably the last thing on Aaron's mind at the start of next week so if Robert even attempts an apology, I can see Aaron just flying off that Robert has got his priorities wrong and if he still cares about Chrandy then he should go and sit in a tree outside HF with binoculars... I speculate. Lol

I've been thinking the same. I heard that the Vet surgery gets bad reviews that i think will be down to Pierce which may mean the job offer in Germany gets withdrawn etc. Plus maybe he causes some sort of accident where either Rhona or Paddy is injured.
