The difference to me is that we could have had this exact same scenario tonight but with changes in the way it was written and the dialogue could have come across totally different.

For example, you could still have Aaron turning down their date but if instead of Aaron being totally dismissive of it and seeming completely unfussed, you could have simply had him be slightly apologetic and promise they would do it another time. You still have Liv ruining Robert seeing Aaron, you still have reason for Robert to be annoyed about it but you eradicate the sense that Aaron couldn't be any less into it than he is?

quite... it's fine trying to make light of all these but deep inside it sort of hurts the robron heart

Definitely a plot device for later in the week

You can have this situation we've had tonight without Aaron batting Robert away without seeming to care about it. I don't really understand what's going on. It's most bizarre.”

My point exactly. Aaron doesn't seem to want to be with Robert, so why is he ? What's wrong with the writing/acting ? (Okay, I can't help moaning after all ).

Does Aaron even care? It was as if Robert was inviting him to sit a maths exam.

I mean anyone would think this type of scene was a year down the line just before Robert gets a wandering eye.

I'm not going to keep posting about it but I'm sick of it. It's a complete waste of everything they spent months building.

Dinner in Yorkshire means lunch so it would have been in the cafe.. Which they do every other day ”

To me Robert wants what Chrandy have i.e a proper relationship with Aaron. But Aaron is preoccupied with his sister.

I agree Aaron doesnt seem into it at all. Why get back with Robert if he wasnt into it. Just stay being friends.

Yeah, I know Aaron wants to take care of Liv but he isn't her father. You don't get the sense that Liv made a choice to live with Aaron and he has other things in his life which are equally important. That has to change imo.

I said weeks ago that Aaron doesn't seem to really care about Robert and someone on Twitter had a go at me for saying it *rolls eyes*

I hate that it’s coming across like this but tbh I’m glad I’m not the only one seeing it and others agree now

Frustration again, poor frustrated Robert Aaron did seem dismissive to Robert. Honestly I'm actually looking forward to them having an argument, we will get to see some real emotions between them which is better than this hands off stuff.
Hopefully things will improve eventually

Well they write it like Aaron doesn't have a care in the world but I am pretty sure that it's for the fact that Aaron will have to tell Robert how he really feels about him and the ILY will come. It's so soapy very soapy, but I can't wait for that.

Well at this rate I'm not sure why Liv is even bothering to try and split them up. What's to split up?!
