I don't want to discuss the specifics of tonight;s episode. For me, the issue is slightly different.

It's just more of the same, isn't it? Robron forever going round in the same old circles and never moving forward ... I love you , I hate you, I love you ... we're a couple, no we are not, yes we are and on and on we go and then back to the beginning.

It;s time to move the story forward and present the characters with new challenges and adventures before the viewers get bored and before the Emmerdale production team ruin the huge interest generated for the soap by Robron.

The Emmerdale writers need to start thinking and getting creative and stop repeating the same old stuff. It's happening throughout the show and it's getting very predictable and rather boring.

I don't think that Gordon was ever going to say sorry. That's not the character they ended up creating. I think they must have changed that idea rather early on.

I enjoyed the scrap yard scene tonight, although yea it was a strange shift all of a sudden. Loved Robert ranting an Aaron storming off. Some good gifs of it

Yeah I guess it's weird like that. What some of us don't like some others love. I suppose that's how hard it is trying to please a whole fandom. I want Aaron to just blurt is out randomly without any drama is all. A random moment just in the pub having a pint or whatever. I don't see why every big moment needs to be something dramatic.


Well we just have to wait and see but given the writing lately, im not confident there will be an acceptable conclusion.

Yep. He shouted in court with Aaron present "I'll appeal". That doesn't sound to me like someone accepting guilt, it's actually insulting with your victim right there.....

Fingers crossed I'm hopeful. I can't get any worse and we know Robert helps Aaron with this decision next week and Chas talks about their future so it must be a good episode tomorrow.

Even if Gordon didn't say sorry, I'd of liked him to at least admit he did it, which he hasn't done to Aaron's face!! Aaron wanted that admission but now definitely won't get it!!

Robert's scrap yard rant reminded me of Carl King. "I killed my dad for you" . Robert and Carl really are very similar.

I think it would be nice if Aaron realises that Robert getting rid of the letter was the best thing for him.. if Aaron had have seen the letter, would he have visited Gordon? It did sound like he was thinking of doing so when talking to Adam. If Gordon has taken his own life he'd have got his wish if Aaron had received & acted on that letter.. Gordon died not having that control on Aaron & not getting what he wanted which was to get Aarons attention & that's because Robert didn't allow that to happen.. it would be great if that was acknowledged, with Aaron in the end greatful that he didn't know about the letter until it was too late.

It did seem odd BUT I think Robert needed to clear his head and didn't want to go home so work is the only thing he could do. Aaron appearing there was odd though. Why did he go there?

I really do think Liv will want to go to Gordon's funeral, she seemed to be grieving tonight to me and I think she will need help with that. Luckily she knows an expert in dead parents .

Poor Robert. He just wants to feels included and then the family accuses him of murder. Which is rich coming from Cain.

I only liked the breakfast scene and the scrapyard. I was glad that Robert told Aaron how he felt.

I hope for a good Robron scene tomor but I cant hope any more with their scenes actually being good and having a decent convo thats not 10 seconds long.

I don't think Aaron changed his mind about not wanting to see Gordon but he thought he might have depending on what Gordon said in the letter. If Gordon said he was sorry in the letter he might have wanted to go and see him. Also when he found out about the letter he wanted to see Gordon to see what he had to say. I don't think it's a case of him suddenly changing his mind at all.

Looking at the photo Isobelle posted on Twitter I think Danny seems to have lost a fair bit of weight. The nipples though.

I totally get what you mean but I think Aaron has been wrapped up in his own bubble, understandably so considering what he's been through, but Robert has been part of the journey too and he feels a let down by Aaron, maybe taken for granted. Putting Robert's history to one side for a moment and taking into account that maybe it doesn't hurt that Robert feels what it's like to be on the receiving end; if they have a normal conversation at the end of everything I think it's a good way of drawing a line under the past and starting their future together.

An ILY doesn't need to be a big moment in this context more a case of Aaron finally accepting fully he loves Robert and for the first time taking the chance and saying it out loud to Robert. Robert knows Aaron loves him, that doesn't mean it's not heartwarming to hear the words said out loud.

You know I was actually thinking tonight just watching that he looks to have lost weight. He looks really good at the moment....

Someone on Twitter says Danny told them on Saturday he's not in work for a couple of weeks. I wonder if this "holiday" he referred to this month might be for a few days next week (Tuesday onwards, as we know he's on Loose Women on Monday)?
