The last thing I want to see is every argument ending in a murder accusation. Robert will make mistakes like everyone else.”

When Robert said he had read the letter the whole scene reminded me of when they were on the open road. As Aaron walked away he said he had lied and killed Katy. We have the same here where he first denied he had read the letter then as Aaron walks away he admits it. Robert doesn't trust Aaron to understand why he has done something so lies. They are very insecure with each other at the moment. They have only been in a physical relationship and hardly know each other in emotional terms. Aaron is scared of letting Robert in which accounts for his lack of warmth. Because they don't talk like Adam and Aaron, Robert keeps making the wrong decisions.

People need to chill out and realise that Aaron's just found out his father is dead, his head is all over the place and he doesn't know what to think at the moment. For all we know Aaron could blame himself for all of this for coming forward about the rapes anyway. Aaron's hurt, angry, confused and it doesnt help that Robert had already nnoyed him over this letter business. It's funny how angry people are getting with Aaron.. as if he hasn't just had the worst news he could ever recieve. Regardles of what Gordon did, he was still Aaron's dad, and whether the relationship is fractured, or damaged beyond repair, at the end of the day, Aaron has still lost a parent.

And if people could stop treating Robert like he's a precious little flower who should never be harmed, that'd be great. - Aaron will make mistakes in this relationship too. Tonight was one of them, but don't justify Robert's mistakes while slating Aaron for making one too.

Really good post.I totally get Aaron's çonflicted feelings-a lot of people expect him to be so happy that his dad is now gone, but it is not quite as clear cut at all for him ! And you're so right about some people treating Robert like a precious flower
