This is a good series. It could easily have been written off as 'oldies in limp comedy' but it's sharp and funny. Philip Jackson's cynical, sarcastic, character Alan is hilarious.”
Very good show. Intelligent comedy with older characters. In short supply here in America. If you're not young and bouncy and perky, you're out.
I enjoyed James Smith in The Thick of It, and was happy to see him here. Of course, it's always nice to see Philip Jackson from Poirot. And Tink, from Lovejoy!
It may be over the top, but who cares. There's no bigger pile of steaming over the top than 2 Broke Girls and that show still ticks on with the morons in the U.S.
As to the search engine, it's being updated, so they say. Meanwhile, google the name of the show you want, along with 'digital spy', and bob's your uncle, it finds a thread here. Stupid, right? Right.
