Standing on the sidelines spouting ignorant and nasty comments at people all the time. Anyone else kind of hate her? She's a complete doormat and probably the most naive gullible fool on the square so I don't know what she's all high and mighty about.

I could never figure out why she didn't mention her fight with Lucy on the night she died?

Probably didn't want anyone to find out. I went off her after she beat up Patrick.

Denise is a kind person how could you hate her? She's only rude when others are rude towards her. If your referring to when she was being rude to Phil she had some issues with him in 2011 I remember. Most of the time shes being sarcastic.

Once upon a time I think she had potential to become a modern day 'legend' but the writers didn't have a clue what to do with her. They're now retreading plots from six years ago in an attempt to justify her existence. She's just kind of 'there' which, when you consider the caliber of the actress, is a real shame.

I love Denise but she's waisted, I also really like Kim but there's no contest in who's better between them and for some reason Kim seems to be getting all the screen time latley

She's a lowlife, thieving, alcoholic thug, pure and simple.

Jordan should steer well clear, he wouldn't want to get dragged down by a brutish thug who beats young girls and elderly disabled blokes senseless.

I love Denise! Diane Parish is brilliant in the role, good at the comedy and the drama.

Denise is a great character who is sadly underused.

I would like her to get together with Masood, I think they would be a lovely couple and they could raise Kamil and JJ together.

Yes, she was very wrong to hit Patrick. She was drinking and in a very bad place at the time. Normally she is a lovely person, I think. Far nicer than the dreadful Kim. I love Denise's relationship with Patrick, too. They have gotten through the rough times and love each other a lot.

As for the Lucy fight, there were two of them in it. Lucy gave as good as she got. But of course Denise should have told the police about it. I can only assume that she knew it would look bad and she also did not want to add to Ian's misery but it was cowardly not to do it. Understandable, but cowardly.

Defo strange even if she never mentioned the fight, she saw Lucy come home and that is a key piece of evidence.

Diane Parish is one of EE strongest actress and Denise is a great character but she just underused and like a lot of strong performers on EE is not given any decent material, the stuff with Lucas was minimal and rather lacking.

She's rude to everyone at all times. The woman suffers from a serious case of foot in mouth disease. Comes across as really ignorant most of the time.

The actress is great but the character is tied to a ton of awful characters. She never stood a chance.

I don't think anyone would given Phil's own track record.

Lucy's murder fiasco post-live is a strong contender for the most illogical shambles of a story in the history of EastEnders so it doesn't surprise me at all that some of the nitty gritty doesn't add up.

I always thought this made perfect sense - Lucy was killed by a blow to the head and Denise had a physical fight with Lucy about an hour before she was killed. It would be easy for the police to pin the blame on her if she admitted hitting Lucy so she just pretended the fight didn't happen.

If people don't like Denise then i would have to wonder which characters people do like, it's not like there are many nice people around on Eastenders.

She's not actually that nice though. 90% of her scenes involve her sneering at people, being sarcastic towards people and looking down her nose at people. She's no better than anyone else in the show in that regard. When she's not doing that she's looking for new ways to become a doormat. I like the actress, the character had potential but she's been a dud for years.

If they bring in Libby for Denise that would help her character. Libby nevr got much to do in her last long stint (2006-2010) so bringing her back and developing her would be great.

Bringing back deadwood to give storylines to other deadwood is no solution.

I think she has inproved. I thought she was boring when I started watching and since the Lucy story she has become one of my favorites.
