I'm rather interested in this but am a bit confused -

http://shop.ee.co.uk/sim-only/pay-mo...oosePlanAnchor

I currently have 2 EE accounts, one is a business one for myself, the other is a domestic one for my daughter. I am looking for 2 new accounts for my wife and grandson (currently on O2 and Three).
Am I right in thinking I could get one of these sims and port my wife's number to it ?
Can I only get one ?
Can I take advantage of it via my business account as well ?
The price list is rather confusing e.g. £16.49 for 16GB and £25.19 for 8GB

I appreciate I should probably be talking to EE but some here may have already researched this

Yes, you can take the advantage of those 10% off additional lines offer.

£16.49 for 16GB is the current special offer.

I think EE might have a policy where they will only add one new account in a three month period though. I seem to remember hearing that someone had signed up for a special price 30 day SIM contract, and then signed up for another one a few weeks later but this was declined as they could only have a new account added every three months.

Someone else might be able to confirm.

It would depend on your internal credit "score" from what I remember (and unless the criteria has been changed). It was possible for a personal account holder to be allowed from 1 to 5 handsets on their account. So a poor scorer wouldn't be allowed even a single additional line but someone scored as excellent found get an additional 4.

That makes sense...

Have now ordered the 16GB plan. When I've got it I will have a go at getting another.

Completely miffed, EE wouldn't let me move to the 16GB price plan cause i'm already in a contract with my current 10GB sim only deal grr. £19 for a new customer is a bargain!

Did eventually get moved to the 16GB price plan but for more money than what i'm paying but with my current loyalty still gonna cost me £29 for the 16GB sim only, oh well.

The cheaper price is for 12 months only and reverts back to full price after this. Just checked with EE as they don't mention this important detail on the website.

Yes, I didn't realise that. I guess I will review things at 12 months and see what else can be done

Do you mean the 10% off reverts back to full price? Or do you mean the current offer on the 16GB sim?

Presley: Thank you for contacting EE, UK's biggest, fastest and most reliable network. I am Presley and how can I help you with your order?
Ozz: On the 16GB sim only offer, does the price remain at £19.99 after 12 months or does it revert to £34.99?
Presley: Hi,
Presley: I'd be happy to help you with that
Presley: After 12 months it will be £34.99
Ozz: Ok thanks for clarifying. Regards.

It all depends. When they add the tariff on the system, is it a £34.99 plan with a discount? If so, it'll revert to that price after 12 months.

If it's a specific tariff built at £16.99, then it'll stay at that price.

On the website, until you add it to your basket it looks like a normal priced tariff at £19.99, when you add to basket it says "Now £19.99 (Was £34.99)... Hurry offer ends 14th April 2016"

The only mention of the price changing I can find on the website is "The monthly price shown will be adjusted every year in your March bill by the Retail Price Index announced in February that year."

I'm sure it's a permanent discount. I will check though.

I don't think it's a permanent discount I'd be really surprised if that was indeed the case.

Like I say, I will find out. Then we'll know.

I upgraded a few days ago. My billing cycle ticked over this weekend and so MyEE is now showing my new 16GB tariff. It shows the monthly cost at £34.99 so queried this with online chat billing support who said I would see a promotional discount on the bill when it's issued.

I asked whether it was for 12 months or indefinite. He said forever. Now I don't hold much faith in this being absolutely accurate but I have saved the chat log to be used as evidence in 12 months as there are no notes or T&Cs which I have seen online to say it's for 1 year only.

Did you upgrade online, over the phone or in store?

No it didn't mention an upgrade. It says "Thank you for your order" and details the cost and period.

Good, makes me feel better, worried something went wrong! It mentions about delivery of my order too which is what worried me as I don't need a new SIM card.
