Gleb and his wife were in London last week and are both being very cagey about what they were doing there. Lots of comments on Twitter saying that we will find out soon, but we are still waiting. On the appreciation thread we think she had a Strictly audition, she often likes tweets asking if she is joining Strictly.

I'd say Giovanni is a cert to return, ditto Joanne. I can't think why you'd think otherwise really?

Neil Jones is the most obvious replacement for Tristan as he already choregraphs for the show.
but he and he wife are doing really well in the competition world atm - surely they wouldnt be able to do the 2 - would they?

he also spends a huge amount of time in Hong Kong - I dont know if he teaches there or what but he always seems to be flying there

I am not convinced Neil will be Tristans replacement

Korina Travis seems to be making a good impression with the producers, we could easily see her as a pro this year.

I imagine that some of the pros could feel a little isolated if they're not in the Clifton clique.

Is there really a Clifton clique?

Clique is probably an overly emotive word. I was thinking of the strong bond between Kevin/Karen/Jo/Jeanette/Aljaž.

Everything I've seen, and read, tells me that the 'Clifton clique' is a REALLY nice, friendly and inclusive bunch. They've hang out with everyone, who aren't too busy with their own lives to hang out. IMO it's perfectly normal to get on better with some people than others, but that's not just limited to 'Cliftons'. I don't think there's a 'Clifton clique' at all, unless it includes everyone who wants to be included in it.

I'm sure you're right. I'm not suggesting they're not very nice and very friendly people.

I've never seen any evidence of a clique at all, in fact now the awful Jordan's have gone I think there seems to a better atmosphere amongst the pros and I think they all get along.

I don't think Aliona and Brendan were besties but now she's gone (very very very sad face) you could be right. There was certainly aggro between Karen and Ola but how much of that was exaggerated by the press, who knows? I always liked Ola. I think though that James' departure was toxic for her relationship with the producers and it just wasn't going to work.

She is a good talented dancer but feel as she is so young (under 21 british latin champion) she may wish to further her competitive career before doing something like Strictly would be a shame if she hung up her competitive shoes so young

Anton has been dancing with Joanne at some Charity events,
they attended the Clifton's Dance academy Annual charity ball in Grimsby last December

IIRC She sued him for using her picture on a tour poster, which she was not in.

That would probably not be very much to do with either of them personally, more "her people" taking on "his people".

3 of the people who created most arguments and the behind the scenes stabbing are now gone from Strictly, We have to wait to see what the new crew brings us.

I guess the story part is that Vincent is saying the producers would like them to return. I adored Vincent and Flavia but they've moved on now and good luck to them.
Having read the interview Vincent gave to the Express he did say he'd consider returning for a one off performance if they were asked to do one of their specialist dances as a showcase. Please make this happen, I would love to see Vincent and Flavia perform on one of the results shows next series.

I'm a fan of Jo in particular but the #TeamClifton movement did get a little overbearing last series. Could do with being balanced out by #TeamSamodanovaSavchenko.

They *really* should have given Kevin a quieter series last year - with the level of Clifton saturation we're now at I think all three of them will need a quiet series this year (if Jo is indeed promoted back to partnering a celeb).

If Joanne returns as a pro having all 3 of them would be a bit much IMO

I completely agree.
Give Jo a ringer but give the other two duds and we'll see what happens.

Totally agree about having too many Cliftons. Last year I felt that most of the pro dances revolved around them and it's just too much.

If it wasn't the Clifton's then it's the other two (Janette and Aljaz)
