Motion Smoothing TX40c300B
I just bought a Viera TX-40C300B and this 'soap opera effect' which i knew nothing about is driving me nuts. I read you should be able to switch it off but can't see anything on the menu's for motion smoothing. All my fave US shows look like they have been filmed on a home video camera. Disappointed
. Can anyone help?

Try going into the Picture Settings Menu, Advanced then try turning Film Mode off. See if that has the desired effect.
By the way this forum is really for Panasonic PVRs (Freeview Recorders) not TVs. This would perhaps have been better posted in the Terrestrial - Technical forum http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=64 |
