I can't blame Michelle getting pissed off, she's running 3 businesses (one of which is entirely Steve's) all whilst he is living the life of riley in Spain.

I'm not confused at all. I know exactly who DEAN was but it seems they went scrambling to explain the timeline for Will because they realised that Michelle got pregnant about the time she supposedly went out with Will. And the fact that she started up with Dean and got pregnant in such a short space of time as a result was the point I was making in the first place.

Second I'm fully aware of Steve's shortcomings. Just like aware of Michelle's- before they rewrote her hypocritical, bullying ways. This whole distress line is the result of the writers having very little imagination in explaining a long term absence. Corrie aren't the only ones guilty of it. But spending X amount of time looking after a sick relative is the go to move. Making Michelle hard done by again, is another go to move. It's been done before and it's bloody predictable.

What exactly has she EVER done with regards to Streetcars before making this pay off her distress? Never saw her there, or mentioned as someone the staff had to answer to before or after Steve's- until now.

Just wondered, as Michelle has been prone to bullying as well.

That's the thing though, Michelle put nothing into the pub and was still ungrateful at the time Steve bought it for her and thought it was beneath her. But now she swans around acting like a high and mighty businesswoman, but she wouldn't have any of it if it wasn't all handed to her on a plate. It is either Steve or Carla that have given her these positions.

When since have we ever seen her in Street Cars? Funny how she has done fine the past six months in which she has mostly followed Carla about or stood behind the bar, but now that the plot requires it she is suddenly pissed off. No doubt we will continue to get contrived scenarios where Liz has to go out every day and leave Michelle to hold the fort.

And of course her ex-boyfriend's fiancée has conveniently left the country, so we can have him and Michelle grow closer and her opening up to him.
