Is this a mobile mast?
Hi,
Around 7-8 weeks ago i saw some workmen putting up a new mast near my home (IV2 5FJ), when i asked them what it was for they said its an EE mast and will be operational in a few weeks However when i queried this with the EE network team (via EE forum) they confirmed 100% that it's not an EE mast so it appears the workmen were telling porkies. Just wondering perhaps its not a mobile mast after all? There's nothing written on the green cabinet and oddly I couldn't anything in the Highland council planning planning applications for this particular spot. Perhaps its related to the railway infrastructure as there's a railway line ~50m away? http://s17.postimg.org/tkfprxxf3/IMG_0143.jpg |

Yes, it's an Arquiva smart metering mast operating around 400Mhz. Other examples:
