Must be just me that finishes my xmas shopping by the end of september? And I dont think they will come down in price before xmas as the estimated price for it was £250. It was supposed to be available for summer 2005 I believe. I was being cynical when I said it was Septemberand in plenty time for xmas.

I have already bought one with 5 games for my son.He is very pleased with it apart from the size of the memory stick which is ok for games, but to use it as an MP3 player relies on you buying the sticks with much larger capacity.
Its much better than the Nintendo DS,and my son says the graphics are far superior to what he was expecting. Don't bother waiting for the UK release.Games are not coded and a Jap or US PSP bought now will still be able to play UK games, although UK games are usually £10 dearer than buying a US version online |

Get on to ebay. The PSP can be bought from UK suppliers for the same price as the planned UK price of £199.
Projected UK games priced(even online) at £35 can be bought from Uk sites selling the US games for about £25-£30. Maybe even the September 1st date will also slip back |
