I have a 2.5 year old Panasonic Viera TX-L32E6B. One of the apps is iPlayer, It has been running fine except for the past month. This is a Freeview TV but basically I use it as a monitor for the Humax Freesat box. This box too has iPlayer & again it has been running fine except for the past month.
The issue I experience is when I select a programme to play I often get the error message 02100 "Something went wrong playing this programme". If I keep retrying I will eventually get it to work.
The TV connects to the router via WiFi incredibly good signal 'cos it's in the same room approx just over a metre away using 2.4Ghz. Using the 5Ghz connection doesn't make any difference.
The Humax connects through a TP-Link Homeplug running at around 200Mbits (no WiFi on that model) & the same sort of thing happens. The Humax does have other issues at the moment to do with non recording & "lost" recordings.
In both instances I can run Netflix application without any issues.
I have an ADSL service & my ISP is Plusnet. I get around 19+Mbps out of peak & 18+Mbps during peak (I'm about 4-500 metres from the exchange).
My router is a D-Link DSL3580 AC1200 Gigabit router which does not seem to have any issues (it runs very cool suggesting that it's components are well within their tolerances). I usually leave it running & only reboot when necessary.
iPlayer runs fine on my Android platforms & on Win10. Accessing iPlayer via browser (Chrome) on Linux is also trouble free.
Anyone out there have any ideas? I've tried various avenues (except the BBC site which I find next to useless & their support service is slow & doesn't come up with anything meaningful).
TIA
