I think Johnny should blend in with the Carters before being given ANY storylines (similar to Kathy). It is a big change for the audience, and one which may take some time. Sam Strike was amazing as Johnny, it is going to hard watching someone else in this role.

Going from the spoilers for next week, I think they're remaining true to Johnny's original portrayal: family focused but not a pushover, kind and sensitive. I don't think he'll be given his own big storyline straight away but I do hope they don't waste him and that they haven't just brought him back to boost the Carter numbers.

Just seen this thread. How do we know Johnny's coming back and how do we know that they're not using the same actor as before (and if not, why not - he was perfectly good, wasn't he?). Where do people hear this stuff?
