I'm off on Holiday to Aus for 7 weeks and I have booked onto the Official Neighbours tour on 27th April

It says you get a meet and greet with a star -- Cannot wait!!

Has anyone else been on it - and if so who did you get?

I went last year. It was great, met Dr Karl and Josh Willis! We couldn't get onto the street as filming was happening. We did get to visit Lassiter's complex. It was a great day!

I did the tour twice. It's great fun.
The street looks much smaller in real life. I took a lot of photos there and held the Ramsay Street sign, etc.
The tour guides are fun and give you a lot of facts during the bus ride.
The first time I met Georgia and the second time I met Josh. Had photos with them and they did a short Q&A with the group. They were both really fun and down to earth. Very interesting few hours.
Let me know if you would like more info. You will have a good time.

I have done the Ramsay St tour several times and highly recommend it. Its always the first thing on my agenda when I'm in Melbourne!

I would recommend the Saturday/Sunday tours over the weekday ones, however if you are only in the city on a weekday they are still worthwhile.

Pin Oak Court is smaller than you would think, but still its quite a magical experience when the minibus turns into the cul-de sac for the first time, and this street that you have watched on the box for 30 years is there in real life!!

On the weekday tours you get to meet an actor (past or present), I've met Dr Karl, Susan, Brad, Chris Pappas and Stingray to name a few, all very friendly and chatty and really do take the time to answer any questions, and all more than happy to sign autographs and take as many photos as you like.

On the weekend tour you get the full Lassiters complex experience, and can wonder around at your leisure the exterior sets including the hotel, Harold's, the waterhole, police station, Sonia's nursery, Lassiters lake and the rotunda where Kate Ramsay was shot. All this is not available weekdays due to filming.

Overall its a great tour for any Neighbours fans, past and present, and even those who on the tour bus claim they don't watch it and are just being dragged along by their other half end up getting right into the spirit of it by the end of the tour!

I went back in 2002 but it was December and they had wrapped filming for the year.

Well I am in Melbourne twice - at the start, and again at the end - so what I might do is the weekday one at the start, which I am booked in on - then the weekend one 7 weeks later - to end it on!

CANNOT WAIT!
