The whole Steve absence has been ludicrous. As they had to write him out could they not have just had him recovering from his depression in rehab or something with Michelle and his daughter visiting him off screen. To have him now just not giving a toss about anyone while he goes off on a six month jolly leaving his wife, his daughter and his businesses it totally unbelieveable. Any sympathy we had with the character for his previous problems is all gone. Terrible scriptwriting.
