Apparently Cheryl Cole has quit the X Factor and Olly has already quit along with Caroline I was just wondering if we might see either Olly or Cheryl as a contestant this year as Caroline has already done Strictly.

Cheryl is already ballroom trained, so it wouldn't really be fair having her on the show.

Cheryl is far too 'important' and 'precious' for Strictly.
I can't see it this year but maybe five years down the line she'll jump at the chance.

Is Cheryl "whatever her name is these days (or is it just Cheryl)" still the nation's sweetheart?

Natalie was mainly stage trained with some ballroom

Cheryl competed in ballroom and latin - big difference

No and no

Definitely wouldn't want to see the Cheryl media circus take over Strictly.

Fortunately, she has said that she is leaving to concentrate on her "music career"!

She'll have a CD to shill, then

I would graciously accept Cheryl and her training if that meant it opened the way for Mark Cavendish to be on and be stroppy in Flemmish

A relief for Strictly I hope my daughter doesn't try and make me buy her new solo effort though

I like Olly, so wouldn't mind him in it. I suspect that he's a few years away though. Of X-Factor alum's I think we're more likely to get a JLS or Union J guy.

That would be right up there with getting Boris Johnson on the Show!

Forgot to add that Nick Grimshaw has also left the X Factor but has apparently been sacked not quit.

Mark would be a step too far he did quite a bit of competing and to a good standard as well - shame cos I like him

Twice-married men don't have that particular naming conundrum.
