But for at least 6 months I have not been receiving email notifications to my posts despite having instant email notification turned on in my options. I have posted 3 messages on the DS help forum over the last month to no avail. Can anyone else tell me what stupid thing I am doing wrong.

You could try adding the sender into the safe senders list.

My email is ultimately is handled by Gmail. I have searched my All Mail folder which includes everything and I can find no DigitalSpy messages. I think I am victim of a problem I get from time to time with Gmail which is messages going into a black hole with no error message at either end. When this happens I use my Apple email address instead. However, I just tried that with DS and it complained that my email address was already in use. Duh ? Of course it's in use, it's one of my valid email addresses. Anyway I have now switched it to my Hotmail address instead and I'll see what happens.

Yes that's it. All working fine now I've made my Hotmail address my default DS one. Trouble is I never look at my Hotmail account and for the reason above it wouldn't let me specify my Apple address. Perhaps I'll just go back to Gmail and live without notifications - which to tell the truth is a bit of a blessing in disguise as it stops me getting too distracted by DS !!
