I'm using a Microlab FC330 Model 2.1 and Logik l32hed15 TV

I'm having some issue trying to get the speakers to work with the TV. I'm currently using an RCA Y splitter to connect the subwoofer to the single TV RCA input on the back of the TV.

Yet no sound from the speakers?

Any advice or reasoning on why this is not working?

You need an OUTPUT from the TV, not an INPUT - and it's unlikely that TV has one. Best option is a headphone socket, but most sets (particularly cheap ones) have long since dropped them.
