Can anyone shed any light on a problem that only seems to have happened since I changed to EE from Orange when I got a new phone and contract in October ..... I had been with Orange for years and always gone inro the orange shop to get my new phone and contract but they didnt do the phone I wanted this time so I went to Carphone Warehouse and when asked what network i was with i said EE as i thought orange had switched to EE but I always got my bills from Orange and always had the same data allowence and never went over the 1gb as i only use it for fb and twitter , I mistakenly had switched to EE and since then I keep getting a message a few days before my next months allowence is due that I am running outof data but I have always been able to access fb & Twitter in the house even when I have used up my allowence but this week I cannot get on fb or the internet at all even from my house where I have wifi . Anyone know hy this is and is there anything I can do ?

Sounds like you are not connected to your home WiFi then. If the router is rejecting your password, check the label on the back to double check that it is correct. If it is correct, try rebooting the router by switching it on and off at the wall.

You can use the MyEE app to check how much data you have left, and how much you are allocated per month. If you upgraded recently, you will have been transferred to EE as Orange contracts have not been available for over a year now.

You need to read contracts before you sign them - it is possible that you have been transferred to a plan with less data than 1GB per month (or you are just using more data on your new phone).

Thank you for your reply and your spot on . I called into Carphone Warehouse today an the guy told me to check the password on the hub and to put that in.. Me silly begger had only been putting in my sky account password and not the hub one Once I put the hub password in hey presto it worked !!!.. We had a series of power cuts last week and maybe thats what effected it .
