Thought I'd create a thread for the new P9 family of phones being unveiled in London today.

I'm at the event now waiting for it to kick off. You can follow on Twitter with the #OO hashtag.

I will post first impressions and camera image samples later today and tomorrow.

Key feature: Dual 12-MP Sony sensors, one colour and one B&W for better colours and handling of detail.

I'm guessing this is coming to Three as they are reporting live from the event. Looking forward to seeing it, my wife loves her Honor 7.

All networks (Three, EE, Vodafone and O2 - perhaps more later?). A first for Huawei.

Camera looks stunning.

In fact, the phone looks good too. Especially the P9 Plus.

I'll do a write up later but you can see my Tweets with images and news, www.twitter.com/jmcomms

Here's my first impressions...

Quite an interesting device. The camera is quite interesting, and perhaps gives a clue as to what Apple may be planning.

The phone is blisteringly fast and feels great in the hand. It needs to be cased though, as it's a slippery beast - just like the iPhone and most other modern, thin, phones.

Seems to have amazing reception. Triple antennas, and I just did a 4G+ speed test that was double that of another (Huawei made) phone that's also 4G+.
