Letitia is underrated. She is excellent at the dramatic stuff.

Acting is not her strong point.

Letitia always excels at dramatic material but she's not that talented and I say this as someone who's a fan of Sharon/Letitia.

Of course not. She's not very good for Eastenders, let alone award worthy.

Neither Letitia or Gillian Taylorth are the strongest of Actresses but both play iconic characters within the shows history but I disagree they are poor.
The Best Actresses in EE in no order are- Kellie Bright Linda Henry Diane Parish Jessie Wallace Ann Mitchell Annette Badland Lacey Turner Samantha Womack Laurie Brett |

agreed. Sharon is legendary.
I remember Kat getting a good slagging off but now look at her... people wanting her to win Sharon or Shirley have never won awards u believe |

Letitia Dean is a far better actress than plenty of others currently in the show and she's put in a number of impressive performances over the years. Her reaction to Dennis' death is one that immediately springs to mind. If she was as bad as some people on here claim then I don't know how on earth she's lasted in the show over three decades.

I would rate Letitia Dean well above Gillian Taylforth. She is just so completely wooden to take seriously even for soap standards.

Gillian Taylforth hasn't had a chance to do some dramatic acting yet. What did you think of her acting when she and Ben broke down in tears in October last year?

I think the best in the show are Diane Parrish, Linda Henry and lacey turner. Jessie Wallace and Lindsay Coulson were the best for me overall but I love letitia as Sharon. |

I was haunted when she scratched her face at Dennis' funeral. Letitia really went for it
![]() She gets praise. For example: http://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-...Steve-McFadden Still can't believe she did those scratches on her face for real ![]() Quote:
Totally agree. I always find her very believable.

Totally agree on Diane Parish, Linda Henry, Jessie Wallace and Lindsay Coulson. I was blown away by Jessie during her recent return, and Linda Henry was fabulous in her scenes with Ben and Kathy last week. |

Annette Badland is brilliant
Ann Mitchell commands almost every scene she is in. I have a soft spot for June Brown too. |

There is no way Letitia Dean of all people will win an award for her acting, it's a pantomime performance when she is at her best. It's like a mixture of cheesy american 80's film, and peter pan at Wolverhampton Grand theater.
