I know he looked gutted at the end, poor Tim, the neglected husband

He'll be even sorrier when Sally finds that great big scorch mark on her dining room table! When I saw Tim get the chicken out of the oven I was yelling "don't put that hot dish on the table!" And he did.

I don't think he realised it would mark, he'll cop it when she finds out. It reminds me of the time the ironing board broke, and I in my wisdom, decided to iron on the floor...cue big iron shaped marks scorched in a line up the carpet where I'd been using it...

I love Tim but to be honest I feel far sorrier for myself having sat through the utter drivel that was tonight's Corrie!!

Does anybody think Sally will push Tim too far? I think he may well get to the point when he starts issuing ultimatums. I hope they don't split Tim & Sally, they're a great couple!

Tim used to do that exact same thing to Sally not so long ago, she would cook a dinner for him and he would be drinking in the Rovers or eating round Anna's. I wouldn't feel too sorry for him, in saying that I cannot stand what the writers have made Sally in the last few years.

I think it was meant to be comedy - the role reversal thing.
Mildly amusing, I suppose.

The worm will turn.

Thought he put the dish on the worktop. There was nothing else on it and the table was fully laid complete with candles.

Not sure Tim even though the tin, may scorch the work surface, he isn't the brightest button.

I didn't find Corrie that bad last night, maybe I'm easily pleased, and find it noe, for it not to be so heavy as the other soaps.
