Jean Slater to return full time?
Apparently Rylan revealed it on This morning by accident?

That's possibly the most ludicrous suggestion I've seen on here since someone said Letitia Dean should be put up for Best Actress.

Has Rylan become a soap expert or something? I saw on the homepage the other day that he was commenting on Bev Callards depression.

To clear up the confusion.
Gillian Wright was on This Morning and Rylan dropped it in at the end of the interview I'm not sure if it was a reveal she will be back full time or not but Gillian didn't know whether she should answer while Ruth covered up for Rylan by saying 'well you have been coming back anyway so we did know' or words to that effect. |

Unpopular opinion, probably but I really dislike Jean. She's mean, manipulative and awful and when she's not, she acts like she's the village idiot instead, which is disingenuous in the extreme.
Stacey is better off without her. |

Jean is all the better in small doses. I rate the actress and Jean does add a distinct character to show but can be overused and become irritating.

Really, really loathe Jean. That horrid shrieking is one of the worst noises I've ever heard. I've never hated Eastenders as much as when there was practically a solid fortnight of her doing it constantly every episode, when Michael took her money I think it was.

Love Jean! I agree with the 'small doses' comments - but she's definitely good when she gets a good storyline.

I prefer Jean in small doses, think she will annoy me with the Kyle storyline.

Love Jean.
Really enjoyed the storyline when Michael Moon manipulated her. |

Ugh, great.
She shrieks as badly as Bianca did. Can't stand either of them.

I hope so. Looks like SOC is hoping to build the Slaters up again and DTC is paving the way, if this turns out to be true...

Both Gillian Wright and Tamsin Outhwaite were on This Morning together, as they're appearing in a play. At the start of the interview, Rylan was very excitable and was saying that he wished they were both there to say that they were going back to EE (or words to that effect).
I wasn't really concentrating at the end of the interview, so I missed what was said, but I imagine it was in the lighthearted tone that he used at the start of the interview. FWIW, I really like Ruth and Rylan presenting This Morning together! |
