CCTV on Tablet
Need some help, I have a oldish Marplin CCTV camera, it is five years old but produces good images.
Problem I have it is wireless, sends its signal to a unit that then you plug into a computer and you can watch and record your images, but it is not so practical and the computer consumes a fair bit of electricity. Bought a recorder but i can not get it to work with the recorder as the usb link does not work and I can not get a AV to video lead that works. So was thinking tablet, either Android or Windows, Any suggestions please |

Is the CCTV system IP based?
A Windows tablet is a 'PC' so as long as you can get Windows 10 drivers for it, it should work. |

No idea if the camera cuts off after an hour or anything but would be easy to check. |

My Windows tablet a Linx 1010 has USB ports. I recently plugged a USN endoscope into it and it didn't need any drivers or software. The camera/video recorder app just gave me three options instead of two. Front, Rear and USB camera.

I know the Linx tablet has mythical qualities, but there would be a driver for your endoscope; either built into Windows or more likely downloaded automatically from the Internet.
