Greg is highly likely once he retires, depends on whether he wants to go on past Rio. Max Whitlock please, although I can't quite see it, he'd be wonderful but comes across as fairly reserved away from the gymnastics.

Claudia Fragapane would be great, but I'm not sure who on earth they could pair her with, the girl is teeny tiny.

4' 7" - that's pretty small. Not sure who the smallest male pro is?

Tom Daley is most obvious one and he is a top BBC target (especially if the rumours that he will quit diving after the Olympics to start a TV career are true)

Tom Daley would be excellent I think and he's 5'9" so a relatively easy height to match I would imagine.

I've followed Cav's career from early days and I want him to do Strictly sooooo badly . I want to see him answer Craig back in Flemmish and chat with Bruno in Italian. It must happen

It'd be nice if they did one current Olympian and one Olympic legend. Fatima Whitbread has said she'd love to do it and I think she'd be a nice fit for Kevin.

If Mark Cavendish did SCD given how much of a ringer he would be, who would you partner him with?
I'd give him Oti or maybe Joanne.
Fatima Whitbread with Kevin sounds nice but isn't she too tall for him? Don't really care as long has he has a non-contender otherwise I'll eat my TV.

if Tom did it id put him with a new pro depending if any of them could be a good match height wise, or heres a thought could they do the 1st same sex partnership with him?

Oh I'd love to see this sooo much, but I don't think it's ever going to happen. Mark didn't just learn ballroom and latin, he danced competitively as a teenager and it's hard to see how the BBC could get away with that.....wish they could though!

Bradley Wiggins would be a hoot, but he's always said "Over my dead body!" or words to that effect when he's been asked about Strictly, I think it's really not his thing.

Katherine Grainger perhaps?

I think its almost certain that we will get one if the rumours are true about the line up announcement being delayed and the show being cut back to 12 weeks with 14 couples rather than 15 couples and 13 weeks

Where was the rumour of the cutback to 12 weeks/14 couples?
