Especially the BiB.

Why do the Judges laugh hysterically when some prepubescent act tells the sort of jokes that were last seen in Christmas crackers.

She was amazing, good choice Amanda!

I'm not saying she can't sing - she clearly has a very good voice - but I really do not like children singing (or acting) like adults. I saw her and her mother interviewed by Lorraine Kelly this morning and, in fairness, off stage she was quiet and modest and not at all bratty. The mother did most of the talking.

The ones that annoy me are the 12 year old boy guitar acts... the ones that wear a funny hat...

i saw it as well (not by choice) her mother seemed the very epitome of a pushy stage school kid mum.

I was trying to imply that.

Agreed, she was good but the singing was a bit flat.

Lol, you must be tone deaf if you thought that because it was nearly perfect.

Precocious child, though.

Daily Mail trying to do a hatchet job on her already, what a shock.

Won't link to the article but suffice to say it's typical DM.

She was a fantastic singer for her age, but I have to agree with much that has been said on here - Far too stage school.

Just glancing at the other papers the DM aren't the only one.

I agree with the Metro. How do we think A choir is really good and an Orchaestar and a Magician by training and practising for years.

Trying to make this in to a 'scandal' is just absurd really. Next they'll be saying that the sword swallowing guy has actually done it before ..

Maybe Beau would love to perform at the Royal Variety so that this why she entered.

Why is somebody going to stage school such a bad thing? How else are they supposed to learn to hone what this girl clearly has in bucketloads - natural talent?

I thought she sang in a very clean pitch, good timbre with a passable interpretation of a tricky song, both pitch and dynamic wise. She was assured, confident and has a lovely voice. And she wasn't trying to "do" someone else, as most female vocalists seem to attempt, A la Beyonce, or Whitney...she sang in her own voice. I really enjoyed listening to her. She'd have blown them away on "The Voice"

I share your view.

This is getting a bit ridiculous now.

Quote:
“Mirror TV can reveal that not only is Beau an experienced singer, she's no stranger to BGT style competitions either.

The 12-year-old has previously competed in Teen Star, which along with Open Mic is an X Factor or Britain's Got Talent style competition run by Future Music.

Past winners include X Factor's Luke Friend and chart toppers Birdie and Lucy Spraggan.”

Shocker .. girl who wants to be a singer ENTERS OTHER SINGING COMPETITIONS !!!!

I don't know why they've suddenly decided to tear this poor child down.

Apparently, a certain portion of the populace is under the delusion that these contestants are such rank amateurs that they literally have never performed in public before. Or taken any other steps to achieve their goal of a career singing (or playing an instrument, etc) that instead of practicing and rehearsing, they wait around for TV auditions.

Wait until they realize that all these shows have...gasp...talent scouts!

Completely agree. Even Cowell himself doesn't hide the fact that plenty of the acts are scouted and invited to appear on the show by the producers and yet year after year, the media still seem to want to play along and be outraged whenever it's revealed that a popular act has a past in the industry.

I just can't fathom why they've decided to go after this young girl though - seemingly for the 'crime' of being nervous in front of what is likely the biggest audience she's ever performed in front of.
