Beau Dermott!

Ok, might be a bit early to get a bet on after just the first show but bookies already taking bets on who will win.

The odds after the first show are:

Beau Dermott 5/2
Lucy & Trip Hazard 5/1
Alex Magala 8/1
The Collaborative Orchestra 14/1
Darren Altman 16/1
Elite Squad Royalz 33/1
The Togni Brothers 33/1
George Kavanagh 50/1
Vitaly Voronko 66/1

The full list can be found at:
http://www.paddypower.com/bet/tv-specials/britains-got-talent

Have we seen the winner in the first show?

Please shop around if you decide to have a bet on BGT.There are far bigger prices available with other bookmakers.

For some reason only one particular bookmaker (the same bookmaker every time) gets quoted on these betting threads.

OP why do you always quote the odds from the same bookmaker on every thread you start ? It looks extremely like you are constantly promoting that bookmaker on this forum.

If you check my other messages (mainly on the football betting section), you will see i don't just list one bookie, I regularly use a variety of bookies, always on the look out for the best deal. Coral probably have the best deals for new customers and bet365 the best for looking after existing customers. The reason I like paddy for the reality type shows is that they have a dedicated section on their website for TV specials which gets updated regularly so that it reflects current opinions. I don't find the other bookies websites as good for the TV type programmes.

My comments on the football betting section are generally well received and feedback from other posters suggest they welcome the discussion it generates. There are a number of regular posters on there that discuss betting tips and share bookies offers whenever we spot them. If anyone is interested in the discussions on this topic, you can find the forum here =>http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showt...095306&page=27

There odds arn't always the best but you do tend to get alot of offers which often make up for the less competitve odds. For example, I got £30 in free bets when I joined plus have made quite a bit from their free in-play bets that they run most weekends. Paddy and bet365 are my favourite of all the bookies that I use!

Very similar odds with William Hill, but they have Alex ahead of Trip at 10/1, Trip in 3rd place at 14/1. It will be very interesting to see how the odds all change after this week's show. Will Beau still be favourite or will there be another golden buzzer act that takes top stop?

Beau still favourite at 7/2 closely followed by Another kind of blue at 4/1. The golden buzzer act, The 100 Voices of Gospel are in 3rd at 7/1 which looks like a pretty good price seeing the judges reaction to them, they could easily win it!

Good point, but the odds will be much less when you know the semi final list. I might have a punt at the early stages and then put another on for the final show.

Plus, if you don't have a William Hill account (I have switched from paddy as someone pointed out their odds are always the best!) they will match your first deposit bonus, up to £25 if you use promo code F25 when joining. That way you can have 2 bets for the price of 1!

The link for the bonus sign up offer is http://static.williamhill.com/sport/betting-online/

Oddschecker is probably the most recognised betting comparison site. It covers BGT.

Scoooby is right in that the best time for bigger odds is during the first two or three audition shows.

You'll never see that money again. The GBP will never vote for a choir to win, not when there's cutesy kids singing and animals performing.

May be not but she's going to be hard to beat. She's building up momentum. 9 million YouTube views in a week. Kevin Simm's audition video from the Voice which is weeks old is only at 3 million. I've seen that they're already talking about her on American television. She's starting to sound like a winner. But yes there could be a SuBo style backlash in the final.

That's good odds if you have got them at that price!

I notice that paddy power are taking each way bets and paying out if your acts gets into the top 3 places which I think is worth a punt (William Hill only taking bets on outright winner). Beau is currently 3/1, tempted to back her on an each way bet as I'm pretty sure she will be in the top 3, her clip on youtube as had more than 9 million views already which is way more than all the other acts put together! Viewing figures on youtube are usually a pretty good indicator of what the public think and have correctly predicted the winners of xfactor and BGT last year.

I think 3-1 each way is a giveaway for Beau. She'd have to drop out to not make the top 3. She's only
Iikely to be challenged by another singer or a group.

That's what I thought, she has surely got to be in the top 3! Looks like an easy win or is it too early to get a bet on?

Beau and Another Kind of Blue are now joint favourites to win, looks like a lot of money has gone on Another Kind of Blue this week.
