Ugh.
I swear I read somewhere the other day she is one of the few characters on Corrie who hasn't cheated? Is this true (I can't remember her cheating at all but I'm not a diehard Corrie fan)? So this is massively OOC for her. What a cheap storyline.

Frankly I wouldn't blame her but it is stil crap writing!!
Michelle has many faults but she has always been loyal to the partner she was with!!
Just hope Liz has buggered off by then!!

Another cheating storyline. Can't they think of anything else? That and pregnancy storylines are so boring.
There are some people in this world ( tho not in Soapland) who are actually faithful to their partner and use contraception!

Bet Kym was surprised at the direction of this storyline.
So we've got this, Sophie and Kate, Carla and Robert, Sally and Kevin, Kevin and Anna (He was with the "clingy" extra when they had their new years eve kiss IIRC). Anymore infidelities that I've missed from this show in the last 6 months? So ridiculous!
Lets hope Steve dumps her and kicks her out when he gets back from Spain, he did it before, and it was wonderful

This doesn't sit well with the character. After all the carry on with her supporting Steve through his depression. I just can't see her cheating on Steve.
I think it's entirely understandable and it's good that she doesn't go all the way with the cheating.
She doesn't exactly cheat, if you read the article, she has a snog and a bit of a fumble and then comes to her senses, but the question is, where is this man's fiancee? Is he getting married or what? Seems like a bit of an A Hole to me

In those pics it doesn't look like she's enjoying her fumble very much!
And that bloke playing Will is ghastly. Also hated him in Waterloo Road. It's about time they gave Michelle more to do than run around after Carla Connor. She must be peed off with having little to do in Corrie. Kym Marsh is probably as capable an actor as a lot of the Corrie cast. Don't know if that says a lot though! But she's certainly improved since that awful baby-swap SL.
Let's just hope that when Steve returns and the dust settles, she and Liz don't revert to their 'Let's bitch at Steve,' act.

Completely agree with this. I'm glad that from the spoilers it looks like she backs away in the end. While it's out of character for Michelle to be disloyal to Steve, you can hardly blame her for having her head turned while Steve has been away. He has form, last time he did this he wanted to break up. I hope they thrash it out once he returns and he admits some wrongdoing. And more than anything I hope Liz leaves them to sort it out. Haha, as if that will happen!

Tbh I would count kissing as cheating. How could you not 
Not that it condones it, but Steve had a full blown affair with Becky for months while he was with Michelle. And he has totally neglected her. Who could blame her for presuming it's over between them. Still, I'm glad she doesn't sleep with Will.

Whether she goes all the way or not she still takes it too far. But it's no real surprise. Who knows what Steve is getting up too while he's away. What a horrible mess this story has been. But anyway did Michelle learn nothing from the past few months with Carla cheating on Nick
I genuinely don't care because they're not a believable couple. They got married then Steve immediately disappeared to Spain (I realise that this is due to the actor Ill health) but even so Michelle isn't likeable & never will be, Steve I like but Michelle is dull as dishwater & once Carla goes will serve no purpose in this show.
