I'm bored with cheating storylines but at least it looks like she regrets it straight away.

The only good outcome would be Michelle cheating on Steve and then Steve and Liz selling the Rovers to a brand new interesting family with him running Streetcars with Tim as I think they could develop a good friendship and Liz could help out at Streetcars.

At least as an actress, this will not stretch her, she can just be herself.

Kym Marsh can draw on her real life experience

In all seriousness, I will be bored silly with another cheating storyline as if Robert/Carla isn't bad enough.

And she would be dead right in this case!!

This all sounds a little heavy-handed and obvious. I'd prefer if they naturally developed Michelle's bond with Will over time as her loneliness kicks in and they end up in some ambiguous grey area where she finds herself "emotionally cheating" on Steve as she develops a wonderful friendship with her ex.

How dull and predictable. Can anyone stay faithful? Funny how she wasn't deprived before until the plot called for it to tie with Steve's impending return. And it appears her ex-boyfriend she dated for a few months before she was 16 obviously hasn't progressed since then. Can't wait for the scenes depicting both Michelle and Will giving each other shifty looks at the pub.

To be fair she goes wet everytime Will is near her !!

As if we all didn't see this coming. It's bloody ridiculous. Just like that storyline with Sophie and her from the factory.

Great just what is needed, another reason for some on this forum to hate Michelle.

There's no need to be so bothered about Michelle as lots Corrie characters are disliked. It's mostly to do with the way Corrie portrays their characters in the SLs and the writing.

Are they seriously breaking up because of her kissing Will?? Why didn't she just come out in the open about it to begin with??? Brought this on herself.

We who hate her keep her on her toes. She is lucky to have us.

Very much doubt it would be a permanent split. TPTB seem determined to have her at the centre of the show. Hence reuniting with Steve once Becky departed and her returning to the Rovers.

In an interview with Simon Gregson on DS he says that he thought 80- 90% of viewers like Steve and Michelle together so I am guessing in Corrie production rooms they all think we are rooting for them as a couple.

Not in Michelle's eyes as being with Steve ensures she can stand behind the bar and act like she is a successful businesswoman, and brag how she has to run three businesses all on her own.

Imagine if she had to leave Steve, she would have to crawl to her extended family for a job at Underworld, ideally one that requires her to strut about the factory floor holding a clipboard and ordering the staff to get on with their work.

She managed perfectly well without him last time when he cheated on her & installed his floozie behind the bar!! She got a job at the bookies & I am sure she will manage perfectly well again!!
Let's remember here, she didn't ask him to buy the Rover's for her without even consulting her!! It was just another one of his idiotic ideas done without any thought!!
I don't dislike Steve as a character, pathetic as he is sometimes, but I will very quickly start to if he starts playing the victim here!!
