How do I get my Panasonic BD45 Blu ray player to play region 1 DvD's?

I live in the U.K.

You need a programmable universal remote and then follow the instructions here : http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/pa...dmp-bd60/10033 - it works for most Panasonic Blu- rays

I'm assuming it doesn't work with the Remote supplied with it then?

You need to get one of those One-for-all universal remotes. if you look at the main vidhelp site there are examples of models you can get from Argos and Currys

Alternatively you can get pre-programmed remotes which you essentially "rent" for a week or two to do the job then send back. For example

Out of interest is this a hack to Multi-region the Blu-ray playback or the DVD playback? We've know there is a DVD hack for ages but not for the Blu-Ray side of things.
