That was horrible to watch, what did u all think of it?

I thought the guy was amazingly clever, but, like David Walliams said, I was glad when he finished. Despite his talent, it wasn't pleasant to watch.

He must have a lot of guts to do that, but I didn't really find it entertaining.

I don't find these kind of acts even the slightest bit entertaining. In fact I find them very uncomfortable viewing.

And I personally think there is no place for them on a family entertainment show.

I can see him sticking it up his bum in the final.

Oh dear! Hope he changes swords when he then puts it down his throat.

It would get boring very quickly. So it looks like we'll be seeing him again - let's hope it's something different next time - not just sword swallowing and jumping off a high object, or bending over with a blade in his stomach. As long as it's not one of those things, it might be more interesting.

I'm guessing you don't like the circus, or feel that's family friendly either then.

I haven't been to a circus since I was a child, so as I don't know what goes on in the circus nowadays I can't really answer that.

But, in my opinion I don't think this kind of act is suitable as entertainment for young children.

There was a joint in the second sword blade near the hilt held on with screws.
Wonder if this was a safety device which would give if he hit the floor?
Would make sense, unless it was just broken.

They couldn't have been proper swords, he wouldn't have been able to do the back flips if he had really swallowed a 2ft blade.

The second sword in particular had quite a long handle. Does the blade perhaps retract into it?

Imagine the audience watching live and it went wrong? I loved it very scary act.

He was good but I'm not sure he should have been allowed on the show seeing as he's already taken taken part in several Get Talent show's around the world even winning the Russian one

That's something I was wondering.

Eye candy for Alesha and Amanda (possibly David too). I mean it's not as if his skin is see-thru and we can see he's actually swallowed a sword.

What's that got to do with anything?

A lot of people object to all the 'travelling contestants' and I have to say it does make a bit of a mockery of the "Britain's Got Talent" title - it doesn't exactly showcase Britain's talent. It would be better named Britain's Temporarily Got Visiting Talent While There's a Prize Up for Grabs... though it's not very catchy.

I was thinking it seems a bit unfair for a winner to be a contestant.

Again, why? He hasn't won the UK version before or even entered it in the past, IMO.

You could even argue that our version is "The" one to win seeing as it's the original.

I am intending to have a very similar act.

My wife, who has offered to be my manager, has worked out a training schedule..

Step one......Learn to swallow the sword

Step two.......Learn to hold the sword in place

Step three....With the sword in place, start practicing the gymnastic elements of the act.

I am thrilled that she is giving me so much encouragement

And? Its not as if they were trying to keep it a secret. They were surprisingly open about it so anyone who votes for him will know beforehand. And if it is a choice between him and the caterwauling child I know who I would prefer to watch.
