Kevin Simm - All You Good Friends (Single)
The winner of The Voice UK
WINNERS SINGLE: All You Good Friends I think it's a great song. First time the voice has properly gone down this route of an actual specific winners single http://youtu.be/y8gKkdL7xOk Thoughts? |

I like Kevin and saw LIberty X formed from the runners up of Popstars. I bought quite a few of their singles back in the day. I really don't like the song though,. It doesn't go anywhere at all. It doesn't have a good melody or a decent rhythm, I half expected the traditional key change and gospel choir ending but it didn't even do that. Meh.
Good luck to Kevin though. |

I was a big Liberty X fan back in the day and I had all their albums but I really don't like this song. It doesn't really go anywhere and is just a typical winners single ballad
Even LX's ballads on their second album were better. Good luck to Kevin though.

I really like the song, am pleased for him, it took guts to put himself up for possible rejection. 4 good finalists, hope they all get something out of the show.

Not interested in listening to the song, sorry. The guy already had his chance of a music career with Liberty X.

I've got to say, he's a fantastic singer and I love his voice. Unfortunately though, he falls into the same category as many fantastic singers on these shows...having no identify as an artist. I mean, what sort of music is he going to rehearse? Liberty X was years and years ago and he's been trying to make it ever since, yet during all that time he still doesn't seem to have found what sort of artist he wants to be.

The winner of The Voice UK
WINNERS SINGLE: All You Good Friends I think it's a great song. First time the voice has properly gone down this route of an actual specific winners single http://youtu.be/y8gKkdL7xOk Thoughts? Like all "talent" show winners, he's just another talentless pop puppet whose only ability is to be able to hold a tune while looking pretty. I'm sure that once his single flops he'll be back singing on the cruise ships before the year's out. |

Yes, Well done to Kevin Simm. It shows real talent that he wrote and arranged the song, played all the instruments on it and....oh hang on, no he didn't.

So nobody deserves a second chance? It takes guts to come back and give it another go. Good for him.

lets face it is great to see some of the rejected guys/gals from the original music reality show do well again...
it was a travesty how Kevin and Kellie didn't make 'Hearsay' originally... |

...but people don't realise that Stevie had a loyal Scottish following. He was even #1 in Scotland's singles chart with Lost Stars. Also Kevin had already lost 2 days of sales when All You Good Friends was released because charts are compiled from Friday morning up to Thursday night. Releasing a new single now on a Saturday night just doesn't have the same impact. |

going by the old official chart rules, Kevin is number 4.
but since streaming now counts towards the charts - kevin only comes out at number 24 |

I hope his bum is as lovely now as it was when he did that arse photoshoot (easily googleable) in his salad days.
