EE: No one stepping in to help Abi?!
Just me who thought nobody trying to stop Ben as he dragged Abi to the stage was totally unrealistic?! The only person who looked horrified was Linda! Jack just stood there and gawped like everyone else. I can't believe he didn't rush up to the stage and cover up Abi!

Same happened when Phil was trashing the car lot, no person intervene, totally unrealistic imo.

Not just you.
Absolutely disgusting. Her uncle (Jack) should have gone crazy at Ben. What about Mick? He likes rescuing damsels in distress. Just, anyone really! Quite disturbing to watch. |

I think they all froze in shock but tomorrow should show a reaction...
Someone needs to give Ben a hiding.

I was also surprised no one tired to help her I can't say I'm Abi's greatest fan but I felt slightly sorry for her.

Abi knows the Mitchell's are unhinged but still stays by them.

I know what Abi did was awful but Ben went too far.

Especially given Jack's previous career too, not just being her uncle. I'd have expected Mick to shut him down and cover Abi up before he'd started too.
That was absolutely horrific. I can't stand Abi (or Ben for that matter) and I've not liked/been bored by the entire storyline - but dragging her on to the stage practically topless - not even slightly ok. |

Surely humiliating her like that would count as domestic abuse. Yes what she did was wrong but wasn't illegal, unless someone in the know can enlighten me?!

A lot of them are probably aculately aware Ben went down for murder, I'd be a bit hesitant stepping into prevent a murderer hurting someone in case I was toast.

I thought it was terrible that Jack and co just stood there!
But also it made me go from hating Abi to feeling sorry for her slightly which I think was the whole point, made her character have some form of comeback from being a hated liar. |

I don't think they wanted to interrupt until they'd heard what the juicy gossip was
![]() Ben was on top form though tonight, reviving the Mitchell tradition of dunking heads in the bog. Poor Louise ![]()

The fact no one flinched makes me feel very uncomfortable.

I know it was written that way for the drama but nobody even trying to step in and stop him felt wrong.
Disgusting thing for Ben to do. |

I hope someone tells ben that what he did was the completely WRONG thing to do. Two wrongs don't make a right!

Saying that she didn't deserve that especially given how upset Ben was when Phil did that to him. Like father like son

There were several people that i would have expected to step in to help stop any young girl being humiliated like that, let alone one they've known since she was a child and some are related to.
Masood, Tamwar, Mick and of course Jack would all usually have stepped up. I also think Sharon, Linda and Jay would have intervened. Absolutely disgraceful, of course she did the wrong thing (she's done a lot of wrong things over the last year) but she didn't deserve that and it being Ben who has done much worse than her to be dishing the punishment out really sticks in the throat. Likewise him physically attacking the more vulnerable Louise. |

I think we'll see everyone react tomorrow, although I'm sure most will be like 'poor Ben, how could Abi do that?' in order to let him get away with it.
