Vodafone Streaming compression

Hi,

I am wondering if Vodafone use some sort of compression on streaming from particular services?

At 24 Mbps and 14 Mbps up, the streaming quality on twitch is almost unwatchable. However, if I switch to 10 Mbps ADSL Wi-Fi, I can at least stream at HD.

I haven't experienced any streaming compression on the likes of Netflix or Amazon Prime. That said, it could be down to the lack of peering for Twitch which may result in the poorer quality via mobile.

Slightly off topic... do Vodafone prioritise Pay Monthly data speeds over pay as you go users?

I believe they are treated the same, only O2 and Three prioritise certain customers over one another.

It's all good now, maybe it was the mast. I can now watch the stream at source quality
