Sorry I didn't realise. That's a problem with online forums - it's not always easy to tell when people are being serious At least face to face you can see facial expressions, body language etc. Actually though the same could be said in reverse - David wanted to stay in the village to support his father and Alicia chose not to do so.

Tracy has come a long way, when she first started and was using Sam I hated her but I've grown to like her and I think she and David will make a good couple.

I'll never forgive her for siding with Charity and getting Robbie arrested for trying to get the abortion papers.

I also don't understand why the character has hung around so long, doing literally nothing of interest. No to her being a couple with David, they need to move him away from the stupid comedy duo act and into a more serious relationship. Alicia was wasted on stupid "comedy" plots once they were a couple.

1) She left him, 2) They're divorced now. David has the right to move on with his life.
