He was on This Morning recently and I thought he looked a bit frail and shaky.

I'm sure he'll be fine. But he needs a good meal in him.
He'll be one to watch out for next year I feel.

People have been saying this for almost 2 decades now, the man is up there with Ozzy Osbourne, Keith Richards and Queen Elizabeth II in terms of being near immortal.

Sadly I think Carrie Fisher is bound to be next now, I can't imagine she gets out of her recent cardiac arrest in a happy ending.

The Beeb have been saying for a day now that her condition is stable thankfully.

Nope, the Grauniad is reporting that Liz Smith (The Royle Family's Nana) has passed away.https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-r...an-for-her?://

Be strange if Donald Trump dies before he becomes president. He's the oldest person to become president of the United States of Crazy. He could check out before the end of the year!

Doris Day - famous actor/singer of the 50s/60s - is 92.

Kirk Douglas recently turned 100. Can't imagine he'll be around for much longer.

Less than a day later, and sadly you were right

Carrie Fisher was on Graham Norton's tv chat show a week or so ago. She looked in good health. Sad to die so soon after that. So sudden.

A lot of big name British celebs, particularly males, went this year.

She was on 8 Out of 10 Cats last week. I've never seen Star Wars but have seen her on a few of these shows and she's always seemed up for a laugh and down to earth. Very sad.

Des O'Connor seemed to be struggling to speak when he was on the One Show.

Does anyone know if there is an "end of year" show where normally all the celebrities are mentioned as passing? Can't seem to find one.

Failing that, is there a complete list (which I know at this rate must be updated daily) of all the sad passings, including sports people too?

I hope 2017 is a much better year for all of us and celebs included.

Channel 5's most shocking celebrity moments on Wednesday night will make reference to the most unexpected high profile deaths. But as has been said they'll all be topped by the coming Trump presidency.

I have never known a year with so many celeb deaths. It is uncanny, however you look at it. They are not all old people either. I worry that Attenborough or Forsythe may be next...maybe Angela Lansbury?

Still 3 more days to go and they're not stopping.

The Grim Reaper watches too much telly.
