LeAnn Rimes used to be all over the place and in a way she still is, but only through whatever the tabloid people think is going on in her personal life. She released her third Christmas album this past Christmas, but her last regular album was released three years ago. She is working on new stuff, but as of right now no release date has been set for it. May it be the album that brings her back to where I think that she should always be and that is the front burner!

God bless you and LeAnn always!!!

Holly, she played a fairly big concert over here a couple of years back, but I think you maybe right. I did enjoy Spitfire and initially I thought that was from last year but it was 2013 so you have a point. The country stations I listen to don't play her too much.

Sky Music Channel "Keep it country TV" (channel 389) played "Blue" by LeAnn Rimes the other night. I think a viewer requested it on their Demand Country show.

Rick Astley might have today's new number one album! If he does, that's a 30 year gap between his last number one album and his new one! Quite a comeback.

One of my favourites from the arse-end of the Britpop era, despite being constantly enshadowed by then-labelmates Oasis and putting a few noses out of joint with their Sun tie-up, Hurricane#1 have largely reformed (minus Andy Bell who went on to Oasis and Beady Eye), and put out a new tune on smallish label Tapete towards the rump-end of last year. I give you 'Think of the Sunshine':

I think amongst indie fans at the time, the reason they died was due to them selling their soul to the sun. It really was their death knell.

Even more frightening... it'll be the 18th anniversary of Cher's 'Believe' track too come October!

I know Beverley Knight has been on the West End with The Bodyguard Musical and Memphis and recently released the Soulsville album (which landed at no.9 in the Charts) but 'Come As You Are' is her only UK Top 10 entry (fully appreciate she featured on the He Ain't Heavy Christmas no.1 a couple of years ago) and after that she carried on releasing singles/albums without the airplay she got back then.

I know Lucie Silvas released an independent album last year but she should've been bigger than she was; I saw her live at the Lowry and she was stunning live.

Katy Perry

Nah. She's waiting as long as possible for the controversy to die down. But how long is too long?

It was her second top 10 after Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda, though is her highest peaking at #9.

Nelly Furtado is still plugging away.
She went from being an A list popstar in 2006/2007 to a struggling nobody now
