Will they mention Conor Mcgregor or they dont think he competes in a sport
Why would they mention him? He's not British.

Skelton might be an upset winner. But otherwise .. indeed.
He has a chance. I have still never met anybody who voted for Zara Phillips.

That said, I cannot see Murray not winning.

Skelton and Laura on the top 3. Mo in the top 5.

Brownlee seems unlikely as a second favourite. I hope he gets a place but cant see it. Whitlock is best value of all of the 150/1 shots.

On another year, winning the Masters would give you a chance of the top 3 but he is fortunate to make a top 10 this year.

Please say I'm not the only one who is a little bit excited at SPOTY being at the Birmingham NIA year, the same place the Gladiators was filmed at years ago.
Wrong Arena

Fantastic hearing Peter Alliss on Danny Willett's video
That was brilliant. The BBC do do these video bits like that very well

Most years the omissions people argue over are only those who had no chance of winning overall. But in the last few years, I think Sam Burgess and then this year Frampton would have had the support to make the Top 3.

So Danny Willett won the Masters because Jordan Spieth collapsed

Definitely should get a mention, as what he has achieved this year might not be repeated for a good while.

The second Olympic Gold has a little bit to do with it too.

The second Olympic Gold has a little bit to do with it too.
So if Mo Farah helped somebody over the line and still win two gold medals then he would be second favourite as well
