I agree - I know that lots of people go on about his lack of personality (rolleyes), but everything I read or hear about him outside of a tennis court tells me he is a thoroughly decent person.
People make this judgement based on his tone of voice and the shape of his mouth. It's such superficial BS. But they are an ever shrinking minority of idiots, fortunately.

Yeah, he has done a heck of of lot to encourage his fellow Brits to develop on the quiet.
He's also one of the few ATP players that praises the WTA when most prefer to stick the boot in.

What Skelton has been through is incredible. To win an Olympic Gold at 58. Just Incredible. I know where my vote is going.
I think he's a dark horse (pun intended!) for third.

So if Mo Farah helped somebody over the line and still win two gold medals then he would be second favourite as well
I haven't really got the faintest idea what you talking about. He was second favourite in October before that happened.

He is the greatest triathlete that has ever competed and runs a 10K faster than just about any Briton than Mo and a couple of others.

Very brief mention for Frampton. I guess boxing is not on the agenda this year.

The Brownlees drew the biggest crowd in London. They said 500k people were there in Hyde Park and I was one of them. Incredibly popular!!

They aren't in the frame

Its Leicester, GB Womens Hockey Team, Olympic cycling team, Wales football side, Northern Ireland football side, England RU side
I would put Saracens above the three international sides. There have been some peculiar choices this year.

I was just thinking exactly the same thing. I suppose the nomination is what that means.

Are you saying Alistair Brownlee would beat Mo Farah in a race because there is one thing running faster than Mo. But beating him in a race when Mo has trained for years at this event, then thats another thing altogether

The Mexico race where he helped his brother was in September, his nomination was by no means certain before then.

Let's not go over how appalling the Euro 2016 expansion was and Portugal doing a Greece 04. Iceland's giant killings were the only good bit.
