He had a case on achievement - there wasn't much of one at all for Skelton or Brownlee - umpten people had achieved more, or matched Brownlee in more competitive sports.

Giggs won it on sentiment at the time, can't have been any other reason. I mean, I'm a United fan and it's still a mystery to me that he DID win it!
