Standalone 4k caster
Hi all,
I have netflix 4k Fibre optic And a 4k tv However ive just realised my chromecast only supports 1080p rendering it all pointless. What can i get as a standalone to plug into my tv to be able to stream 4k netflix/youtube. My tv is not a smart one unfortunately. |

A 4k TV that isn't Smart? Do such things exist?
Anyway an Amazon Fire TV box will stream Netflix in 4k if the blurb is to be believed. http://www.amazon.co.uk/All-New-Amaz.../dp/B00UH2O6T2 |

Can I ask why you have Netflix 4K, without being able to watch it, your paying extra for it.

Is the Roku 4 officially available in the UK? I can see it listed on their US website but not the UK version. Though I see Amazon UK sell it (albeit the US version apparently).

Yes why wouldent they? Its like asking why doesent every hoover come with a pet hair attatchment. Different products have different specs.
All the one's I've seen from the likes of Samsung, LG, Sony and Panasonic have all been Smart TVs. haven't looked through every single 4k TV on the market but can't recall seeing a single one that was not Smart in one way or another. |

Some of those cheap Bauhn 4K TVs (Aldi) don't have smart functions.

Probably this one - http://www.argos.co.uk/v1/static/Pro...er/4558912.htm Philips TVs are made under license by Chinese firm TP Vision. Philips own a minority stake in TPV. http://www.tpvision.com/ |
