YouTube Copyright Claims Enough Is Enough
You try and upload a video game but no you still get a copyright strike even without any pop music. Enough is enough google we had it I've deleted my accounts with the tw*ts, think it's unfair that big channels like spencer fc and pewdiepie are allowed to use copyright content without getting a strike. We the public need to boycott YouTube and not use their services. Please YouTube users boycott them and make them suffer. Don't watch vevo, don't watch pewdiepie and don't click on their adverts. I've stopped using their services until they sort out the copyright striking

Check out Boggie2998's video on this, very interesting, I never realised what was going on.

O/P, uploading complete video games or large chunks of them is copyright infringement (unless they qualify as 'fair use' in the context used) and should be taken down like music and commercial video... BUT the big boys are in effect protected, and get away with it because they make loadsamoney for Youtube. One law for the rich... one for the poor. But it's always been so, hasn't it? |

Music slightly different as I know a few people and I do it myself who actually listen to music on YouTube, so there's an argument there for copyright infringement. But video games it's just daft, don't the publishers realise that it's a form of advertising, I often check out videos before buying, I wonder if that's what publishers are really worried about, having their crappy products exposed. I can see the point if there's an NDA or review embargo in place, but screaming copyright infringement on a 5 year old game is just beyond reason.

YouTube is in a mess, I urge everybody to delete their accounts in mass numbers, don't watch the big channels like vevo etc.. Also free speech is not allowed like conspiracy/paranormal channels are also getting copyright strikes just boycott google.

How do you know that YouTuber's such as pewdiepie haven't got a licence agreement with the gaming companies to use their content in videos?

They don't watch Boggies video. Basically the big channels have an army of Youtube/Google lawyers backing them, these lawyers basically tell the publishers to go do one. But on the other hand they take down other material from "one man band" Youtubers as a way of appeasing the publishers.
