LG G5 or Huawei P9 for my wife?

What are the pro's and con's of the above 2 phones please?

Also I was wondering what the after sales care for LG and Huawei are like as I have never had an LG phone and my wife's Huawei 4X has never gone wrong to see what theirs is like?

Bear in mind that the P9 works out slightly cheaper on Vodaphone after my 20% works discount at £24/month as apposed to £27.20/month for the G5 (both with 2gb or data each month).

Thanks, Mark.

I would say go for the P9 the G5 is good but I am unsure on the longevity of the G5's removable battery port and besides the P9 looks much better!

Choosing a phone for your wife is dangerous ground.

They have slightly different cameras and their software skins are different. Whichever your wife prefers.

I know. I like to live dangerously.

I'm thinking Nova will go on either the G5 or the P9 as they both don't have an app drawer (like her 4X).

Honestly mate I would let her try them in a shop and make the decision. Of course if it is a surprise then the brownie points if you get it right are worth it - I got my wife a G4 last year and have had zero moans about it.

It was going to be ultimately down to her, but I was just advising.

In the end she went for the G5 (mainly because she could take it away there and then from the Vodafone shop).

I must admit it does look like a nice phone and making me jealous with my Galaxy S5 that I've said I'm going to run into the ground.

Absolutely correct, he should let her choose surely. My wife would not be best pleased and rightly so if I started choosing what she should have. After all she may want something like the IPhone or Galaxy Edge.
