Does anyone know if this thrilling storyline is going anywhere or is it just yet more pointless filler?

Also, Maria getting married to the gay lad is not in her character at all. It's ridiculous. Oh and the Kim Tate character (don't know her name) is a joke, just sayin.

If Ty wants to save money, he should cancel his Sky subscription and watch Freeview or Freesat instead.
The bit of scrap he’s collecting will be worth very little.

The price of scrap metal has fallen through the floor in the last couple of years!!
He'll be a bloody long while getting £300 for his taxi license or whatever!!

Another thing how's he going to transport it to his nearest scrapyard??
If he sells it to a dealer instead he really will get peanuts for it!

Yet another ill thought out load of claptrap!!

Erica is a pointless character, she's done nothing (and she's been there over a year) other than be Dev's floozie.

This is corrie where Tyrone is having huge financial trouble, but his business partner is expanding there business. It doesn't really make much sense Kevin is talking about how well he is doing and Tyrone is looking at moving into a house on benefit street!

Some say that the scrap metal has more brain cells than Tirrone.

Why doesn't Ty just sell his share of the garage?

Because having a share of the garage means he has a decent income. If you have a decent income, your unlikely to have the financial woes he has. So why would he sell it?

The idiots who write these scripts never think it through.

If he sold his share to Kevin, he'd still have a decent income.

Tyrone would actually get more money for scrap metal if the stuff he actually collected was metal most of what he had was plastic can't the moron tell the difference.

I'm sure this storyline will be up there with the legendary parcel storyline that Norris had.

No doubt we can expect Tyrone to get paid a visit by the local scrap collector and warned off collecting on his patch, even though a scrap collector has never been seen or mentioned before Fizz happened to mention it the other day when Tyrone announced that he would be colleting scrap to sell.

Is this scrap metal nonsense just so he can get £300 for the taxi dricers license? Surely they can manage to scrape together a measly amount like that out of their full time wages, without going to all the bother of collecting junk, also Luke must pay them at least a couple of hundred a month, why not use that? Where are they storing it all anyway, you couldn't swing a cat in their back yard?

What was the parcel in the end? I think I missed that.

Another toy town storyline.

Typical of Corrie, Tyronne needs money and instead of a realistic portrayal they go for the cheap, easy, contrived version. I had to laugh when Rita and Norris came round with a shelf and a dodgy lamp which "Dennis bought her".

No doubt Tyronne will have a run in with a fellow scrap collector for taking his business. The competitor will be a comical villain with a horrible OTT accent.

It will be even worse when he borrows a pram and schleps the scrap through every back street only to find its the dealers half day closing. If it was raining soup him and fizzy would be standing on the cobbles with forks taken from the scrap pile.

Actually, I've just realised I've been had - this has to be a wind up, surely? Which writer's going to produce b*ll*cks like that?

Tyrone will be fined £5000 for operating as an unlicenced Scrap Metal Dealer whilst trying to raise the £300 required to pay for his Private Hire drivers licence.

Oh the irony.

But the Corrie crew will have overlooked a trivial detail like that so it won't happen.

It was a telescope if I recall ( something to do with his brother Ramsay who died)!!
I seem to recall young Craig helping him set it up!!
