Just wondering if any kids still watch BGT anymore? Or are they all watching YouTube on their tablets. I don't think kids watch TV anymore really. In 5 years time it will be very rare for a family to sit around and watch the same TV.
The Audience is changing for these 'family entertainment' shows. It'll soon just be older folks who watch them.

Why would you think that?? Some kids are home at weekends and not all are allowed to own/use tablets/Internet.

I would say that evening TV is more age 6+ but kids do watch TV.....

The 7yr old mini-girth is allowed to stay up and watch it on saturday nights. He likes it a lot and asks when it is back on when it is not airing.

My boys 10, 14, 15, 18 years watch it with me. They prefer BGMT though

I totally agree with you but I think more people will also be watching on demand and catch up in 5 years compared to now and to back up what you said in years technology will have changed a lot more to what it is now and most young people will own whatever that is and watch via that rather than the TV and as you say technology will destroy the days where all the family gathered around the TV to watch a show together, that said with my parents we still sit round the TV together to watch shows like Strictly Bake off Masterchef I'm A Celeb
