Anyone watching this?

Gemma Cairney is coming across spectacularly stupid. She thought Woburn Abbey is in Durham, and worst of all didn't know of Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield. Call yourself a jock, lass?

That scouser who reckoned she was an actress was pretty terrible too. Loads of questions about acting and drama and got pretty much all of them wrong. This isn't fit to have the word Mastermind in the title.

I don't know how they can call this Celebrity Mastermind. Not celebrities and spectacularly thick.

Absolutely right. Not fit to have the word celebrity or mastermind in the title. Just a dreadful programme that certainly has no place on BBC2.

Don't like the new countdown music and blue line around the score indicating the end of the round. Hacker the dog.

Exactly the same thing happened last Christmas - people most viewers had never heard of, not even household names in their own households, poor ratings - why has it been brought back ?

I'd rather have this than The One Show.

This programme has been totally dumbed down. It's awful.

The theme has been slightly re-vamped but it's completely taken away the dramatic feel the original had.
John Humphrey's makes it too light hearted.
The theme jingle you can hear for the last five odd seconds has also taken away the drama of the sudden beep beep beep.

I want Mastermind to be a serious, almost frightening quiz. That's how it used to feel.

Actually there wasn't this discussion last year, most are well known I know all of these and the ratings were reasonable. Hence it does come back.

Normal mastermind is on BBC2, look it's Christmas, have a sherry, and run with it.

Would have been an all time low if Hacker had won.

A dog puppet winning Mastermind? I guess it would be worse. Joey Essex could win.

You do realise that it was the puppeteer or an actor who was answering?
