I wish I could have went but couldn't get a ticket for the Glasgow show. Do you think he will tour again?

Jeff is 68, many of his contemporaries have cracked 70 and are still on the circuit gigging so take that as you will I guess. 15 years since the last tour doesn't spell great news though, could depend on ticket sales maybe (just read that the last tour back in 2000 bombed and got cancelled)

I went to the first night in Liverpool at the Echo Arena. It was absolutely fabulous. The guy still has such a great voice.

Just got home from tonights (Sunday's gig) at Birmingham, didn't have great seats but it was one of the best gigs I've seen, from the opening number (tightrope) it got better & better. Sound was good & the light show was impressive(not the usual led screens behind the band that are so common today). The band were tight & having as good a time as the audience. The Feeling were excellent to, playing a greatest hits set.
P.S. not a big fan of Chris Evans but I would definitely buy him a drink to say thank you for kick starting this comeback

Can only agree with the previous comments, I was at the Hydro last Tuesday and it was a superb evening's entertainment.

I was absolutely delighted they started with that song - ANWR is my favourite ELO album.

Am I right in thinking that the band is Take That's backing band?

Yes - Mike Stevens, Milton McDonald, Lee Pomeroy and Donovan Hepburn - but for other artists as well as Take That.

Saw them in Glasgow last Tuesday and it is the best gig I have ever been too. All songs were brilliant with some I wasn't expecting eg Wild West Hero.

The Feeling, as the support act, were very good too.

He interviewed him on The One Show & got him onto the Radio 2 Hyde Park gig & it carried on from there.

Must admit this was a lot better than the Elton John gig I went to last year.

(My sister noted a couple of people having a domestic behind us on Saturday, who then left before the gig finished. What a waste of £160 plus booking fee etc!)

I'm not going to pretend Elton best days are still to come, but I was 3 rows from the front at a gig last year (What £90 got me, in Gloucester of all places ) and as an Elton fan, I found it brilliant, a real great show. Musicality > voice, though that was in pretty good nick relative nowadays for him. My only negative really is that I had to pee like a motherfuc and when I left literally a song before the final, I had to listen from the back given the crowd

Sorry to hear about your experience

Just got back from the O2 Arena, being predominantly into hard rock and heavy metal I have to say... This was one of the best gigs I've ever witnessed, everything about it was just top class and "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Mr Blue Sky" have to be the best sing-a-longs ever

Do hope this tour isn't a one off and I get a second chance to see him soon.
